Hoxton Bakehouse - Chichester
Hoxton Bakehouse began in Hampshire in 2013, when chefs Darren Bland and Florence Hellier started baking in a small space with an old oven in need of repairs. They set out to focus on bread and make it accessible; the bakery says it now produces more than a million loaves and pastries each year. Its Chichester shop is part of that continuing baking journey. The range includes breads, pastries and sweet bakes, from seeded wheat sourdough and pain rustique to cinnamon buns and croissants. Hoxton says its bakers handcraft products with carefully chosen ingredients and bake bread and pastries fresh each day. Leftovers are sold through the Too Good To Go app or donated, helping make sure unsold bakes do not simply go to waste.
