Essence Hair has been part of Haywards Heath for more than 20 years, welcoming clients at its salon in The Orchards. Salon owner Katy leads a multi-generational team offering cuts, colour, styling, treatments and bespoke services, including wedding hair and complex colour transformations. The salon’s approach centres on listening and tailoring each appointment to the person in the chair. Its team describes its work as “honest advice, expert skill” and aims to help every client feel “comfortable, listened to, and confident.” From a subtle refresh to a bigger change, the stylists draw on their experience and current techniques to create individual looks.
