The Oak Barn Bar & Restaurant

Set on the edge of Burgess Hill, The Oak Barn brings restaurant dining to a beautifully restored 250-year-old barn. Its character comes through in the original oak beams, including timber reclaimed from historic ships dating back to Nelson’s time, and in the different spaces available for a meal, from the main restaurant to the bar and outdoor patio. The kitchen prepares dishes in-house, with menus spanning lunch, dinner and Sunday dining. The restaurant says it uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with suppliers including local fishers, family-run butchers and a Sussex cheese maker. Whether guests drop in for lunch or gather for a celebration, The Oak Barn combines its historic setting with freshly prepared food and attentive service.
