The Barber Shop

At 56 Western Road, The Barber Shop offers men’s haircuts and grooming in Bexhill-on-Sea, including cuts and styling, beard trims and shaping, crew cuts and fades, and hot-towel shaves. Walk-ins and appointments are available, and the shop stocks men’s grooming and hair-care products. Owner and Master Barber Massimo Monsellato brings 25 years’ experience to the shop. Inspired by his Italian grandfather Rocco, he is described as the third generation of the Monsellato family skilled in barbering. Massimo opened the business in 2011 with a vision for old-school, high-quality traditional barbering and service without pretence. The setting draws on the heritage of the trade, while the approach is personal: time is dedicated to each customer for a haircut or proper shave.
